James runs Jump Ahead Media, a company which specialises both in writing software and also reporting on media appertaining to Star Wars.

He has a wealth of experience in business management and has worked extensively in the IT industry over the past 25 years, working with companies including the Football Association, IndyCar, International Cricket Council, Moss Bros and Smith+Nephew.

James has been a trustee of Masorti Judaism, a previous chair of Kol Nefesh Masorti Synagogue and has worked with the Community Security Trust (CST) in full, part-time and voluntary roles over a thirty year period.

James is married with three children.
